An easy and delicious side dish.

Afitcado Homemade Air Fryer Fries On a Baking Sheet
Burger and fries anyone?! 🙋🏻‍♀️ These crisped-to-perfection Homemade Air Fryer Fries are going to become your go-to side dish this summer. Made in 25 minutes and with only 4 ingredients, you can make these any night of the week for a tasty, finger-licking meal.

Hello hello! 😊 We are in the thick of summer and things are starting to heat up and get steamy. Nick and I recently spent a couple days up in northern Minnesota in a cabin that had no air conditioning 😵 Talk about steamy. The cabin was 95 degrees during the day, so we spent most of our time in the lake with a drink in our hand

It felt soo good to get out of the house and do something outside of our quarantine routine. We did a lot of relaxing, reading, chatting, and of course eating. If you follow along on Instagram Stories you saw the bag of snacks and food I brought with me. Traveling as a Celiac is always a little extra work.

Luckily Nick’s family is very accommodating and always makes sure to check what I can and cannot have, but I always bring extras with me just in case!

Now it’s back to reality and back to working from home for the next couple of weeks. And then we’ll be headed on our second road trip of the summer out to New Jersey to see my now 4 month old nephew. Words can’t describe my excitement!

But any who, let’s get to these fries.

Homemade Fries Ingredients:

  • Yellow Golden potatoes
  • Avocado Oil
  • Paprika
  • Parsley
  • Salt

This is one of the easiest recipes to make. It’s quick to prep and quick to cook, which makes it one of our go-to recipes . The spices are key and if I have any advice, don’t skimp.

We have the Power XL Vortex Air Fryer and absolutely love it!

How to Make Homemade Air Fryer Fries

3 steps is all it takes.

  1. Wash 4-5 golden potatoes and cut in half lengthwise. Then cut lengthwise again, so you have quarters. Then you’ll cut lengthwise again so you’ll have eighths. Then You’ll cut the eighths in half lengthwise so you’ll have skinnier match-like sized fry. If you’d rather do wedges, skip the last cut.
  2. Next, you’ll place the fries in a medium-sized container with a lid. Add 2 tablespoons of avocado oil, 2 tablespoons parsley, 1 tablespoon paprika and 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt. Place the lid on the container and shake until everything is fully coated.
  3. Place the fries in the air fryer and set to 375 degrees for 20 minutes. When the timer goes off, take out the tray and give it a good shake so the fries rearrange and then run them back in the air fryer for another 5 minutes on 375 degrees.
  4. Once the fries are cooked, take them out of the tray, sprinkle with a little extra sea salt and parsley if desired and serve with whatever sauce your heart desires! I love Bolthouse Farms Ranch. Nick loves BBQ.  That’s it! Enjoy
